January 2017, I piled in to a car, took a ferry, and arrived at a cabin to celebrate my friend Rachel’s birthday. There were 10 of us women in the cabin. We spent the weekend cooking, catching up, hiking, and exploring. This was my third time to the Peninsula, but my first time in the winter. The rainforest and the beach were still stunning.

When I look back on this trip, I feel lucky to be surrounded by such incredible, supportive, creative, and hilarious women.
